Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie took time off from the hectic schedules of shooting the film 'A Mighty Heart' and spent a quiet day in this temple town.

The happy family arrived by chartered plane from Mumbai yesterday and spent the day in solitude on the banks of the river Ganga for several hours.

They also took boat ride in the river and whiled the time sitting near the 'ghats' which gazing at the flowing water in the river.

The local media did not even get a whiff of the couple's visit until they returned to Mumbai late last evening by the same chartered flight.

Pitt and Jolie are in the country for shooting 'A Mighty Heart' - a film based on the life of slain Wall Street Journal correspondent Daniel Pearl - at various locations in Pune and Mumbai.
